Since 1992 we have developed our own techniques, equipment and chemicals to enable us to carry out complex assignments efficiently.

KTV takes on assignments throughout Western Norway, but also regularly cleans out supply boats for Statoil and Hydro along the whole of the Norwegian coast. We clean tankers and drilling rigs for Coast Center Base. Besides these, we carry out a wide range of different assignments for SAR, Franzefoss and Veolia.

We are constantly focused on efficiency and safety, and among other things have developed our own treatment for oil sludge. Our employees follow strict safety routines, and for instance fresh air is used in all tanks, whether it is mandatory or not. Our own communications system enables the person on duty at the manhole and the operator to communicate by radio, without removing masks or other protective equipment. We have consequently been able to operate for sixteen years without personal injuries.

Response time
KTV is capable of carrying out demanding assignments quickly, and we are proud of the short response time required between the placement of the order and commencement of the job. With just one day’s notice we were able to send a team of 40 men to clean the tanks of a chemical tanker in Sløvåg.

We have seven fully rigged trailers ready for the most demanding cleaning operations. They carry high-pressure washers that deliver pressure from 220 to 500 bar. We also have can also deploy a range of supplementary equipment like water suction pumps, compressors and other machines as necessary.
